Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 5.5, billed as its quickest and cheapest small model. Prompts up to 100,000 tokens now cost $0.10 per million input tokens, 90% below Haiku 4.5, while longer ones are 50% cheaper; Anthropic puts the average saving near 75%. It is the first Haiku with an adjustable effort control and runs on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
