01The service
The Daily Screener screens the day's news against the topics you follow and surfaces the stories that matter, with optional alerts. We continually refine how screening works and may add, change, or remove features over time.
02Your account
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
03Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. That means no attempting to break, scrape, or overload it; no reverse-engineering or reselling it; and no using it to violate the law or others' rights. We may suspend accounts that do.
04News content & third parties
Headlines, summaries, and links surfaced in the app come from third-party publishers and remain their property. We provide them for information only and don't endorse or guarantee their accuracy. When you follow a link, you leave The Daily Screener and the publisher's terms apply.
05Our intellectual property
The app, its design, the Sift mark, and our software are owned by The Daily Screener and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app — nothing more.
06No financial or professional advice
Content in the app — including stories about markets, crypto, and the economy — is for general information only and is not financial, legal, or professional advice. Decisions you make based on it are your own.
07Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Daily Screener is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
08Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service and its users.
09Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms as the product evolves and will note the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Daily Screener operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
