Anthropic Launches Claude Tag, an Always-On AI Teammate for Slack

Anthropic has launched Claude Tag, a persistent AI agent that lives inside Slack channels as a shared team member. Available in beta for Enterprise and Team customers, it replaces Anthropic's earlier Slack app, letting anyone tag @Claude to delegate tasks, monitor threads, and proactively surface updates. The agent holds its own account and audit trail rather than human permissions.
