Meta enters the coding-agent race with Muse Code, a terminal tool in beta

Meta released Muse Code in beta, a terminal agent that plans, writes and validates changes across large repositories. It runs on the new Muse Spark 1.2 model and keeps background sub-agents alive through a session rather than respawning them per task. Available on macOS and Linux, it targets Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex, competing largely on price.
