SpaceX has agreed to buy Anysphere, maker of the AI coding tool Cursor, in a $60 billion all-stock deal announced June 16. The purchase hands xAI — which merged with SpaceX in February — its first big foothold in enterprise developer tools. Cursor, founded in 2022, now runs at roughly $2.6 billion in annualized revenue, and the deal is expected to close next quarter pending regulatory approval.
