OpenAI launches GPT-6 Astra, its most capable model, in a limited first rollout

OpenAI began rolling out GPT-6 Astra on September 3, calling it its most capable model and state of the art for computer use, browsing and software engineering. Access is limited at first to a small set of enterprise customers; ChatGPT paid plans, the API and AWS follow in coming days. It is OpenAI's first model rated Critical for cybersecurity capability.
